Whenever I hear about something like this, I just want to crawl back into bed and never come back out. Seriously, I know kids can be downright selfish sometimes, I know I was, but this is ridiculous! Its just disgusting that this kid would financially ruin an charitable organization that does something nice for terminally ill kids. Granted he is a terminally ill kid, but c'mon, unlimited wish fulfillment? And his wishes are just insane! 9 trips to Disneyland? An F-14 Tomcat? Robot Servants? And my personal favorite: His face craved into Mt. Rushmore (which is apparently to be completed in 2031). The worst part is that he's getting the best care he possibly can, which means he's milking the Make-A-Wish Foundation for as long as he possibly can. Its disgusting. This kid should be ashamed of himself, and although I do realize I'm talking about a terminally ill kid here, there are other terminally ill children out there who won't be getting that last bit of happiness because of this. What's more is he says he "doesn't want the wishes to ever end". Hard to swallow, right?

To quote Peter Griffin: "You know what really grinds my gears?" The way people are obsessed with being the first person to comment on something. I just find it annoying when I'm looking at the comments on a website or something and I see someone say "hurr hurr... I just stole your comment virginity! LOL!!!1!". I mean, that's not a comment, that's just stupid. Also, people some times just say "first!" and post. That's not a comment either, nd sometimes, they aren't even the first and it just makes them look silly and desperate. (see http://allfunny.net/index.php/funny-pictures/funny-shoes.html) I wouldn't mind it as much if they actually had something intelligent to say.
Do we really need that reinforcement? The fact that the comment is at the top of the list is proof enough that you were the first to comment. Saying that you've taken "comment virginity" just makes me think that you need to get out of the house more often and get some real hobbies.

Since I'm currently indulging in internet memes, I think I'll state my take on the great Pirates vs. Ninja battle!
First, I'll tell you that I am on the side of the Pirates! Not because I don't think ninjas are cool or anything, I just think pirates are so much cooler! This whole thing started out simply as a question of "who would win in a fight?" but now it's become something like "who has a cooler life style?". And I have to say, I think the pirates have got that wrapped up pretty nicely. When I think about it, I would much rather have a pirate's life style then a ninjas. I think the pirates live a more romantic life. Not romantic like flowers on the bed or poetry, I mean exciting, passionate, full of parties and fun and with a little sexin' on the side...
Ninjas, however, don't live that kind of life. They life a life of celibacy, discipline, secrecy, and servitude. Not my style. A ninja is never allowed to have fun. From dawn to dusk a ninja is training or studying or assassinating someone. They aren't allowed to party or even take off their masks out of fear of being identified. Granted, it would be pretty sweet to hang from ceilings and kill people from the shadows, but to be honest, I like sex too much to be a celibate, and when was the last time you saw a ninja with wenches?
On to the question of who would win in a fight. I actually think a pirate would. Ninjas aren't trained in hand-to-hand combat, per ce. They are trained to strike from the shadows or from afar. I know that the glorified ninja can seemingly teleport behind you and stab you, but in real life, a ninja couldn't do that. And in a neutral location, they wouldn't have any shadows to hide in!
Pirates are seen as drunken and undisciplined, but truly, pirates never fought drunk, they always kept their weapons primed and ready for action, and all the fighting they did counts as training in my book. A pirate would probably just shoot the ninja with his musket as he charged forward. The ninja wouldn't stand a chance. In a battle of range, the musket has the advantage over kunai and shuriken. A bullet is harder to see and travels much faster then anything that's thrown by hand. The ninja could be shot between the eyes before he can even send his weapons flying. And as to a battle of swords? The pirate would still shoot the ninja as he runs forward. After all, he is a pirate.
So there you have it. My take on the Pirate versus Ninja debate.

first I guess it's about time I got on this train. I know it's been what? Only a few years since this sorta thing got popular, but I figured I'd give it a shot. I don't really know who, if anybody, will find the thoughts of some schmo like myself to be at all interesting, but hey, maybe through one of my rants or raves or bitches, someone will notice and say "hey, this kid has a good head on his shoulders!" and then maybe I could break into the true world of internet blogging. But then, who is really gonna look at this? You? Well, yeah you are now, but will you again? Maybe. Just... Maybe...
